However long I’m here I’ll always feel you near

I can only hope that the fluttering of light behind my eyes means that the curtain ,that shades the window next to my face, has blown open because these pin-pricks of light are really hurting my eyes and it would be just like her to shine a flashlight in my face in the early hours of the morning to wake me up because for some foul reason she has jerked awake at 4:00 a.m.

Pulling the covers to my chin I roll over and snake an arm around her waist. I hear her sweet sigh, that one that tells me she’s still dreaming, and I nuzzle my face into her back, not only because I love her scent but because it blocks out the invading sun.

I wonder briefly why the curtain has blown open because I am quite sure that I shut the window last night, before she pounced on me and ruined my blouse.

Still struggling to go back to sleep I roll over again, to press my ass next to hers, and cover my face with my arm. I start to laugh, quietly, as she rolls over and pushes her arm in between my other arm and my breasts.

Resigned to not getting anymore sleep, I roll into her arms and kiss her forehead.

I have to work in two hours, but it could be an interesting morning after all.

Beautifully written and a mental visual tease! I hope this is nonfiction!

Kelly,
It is non fiction, although not present-day.
What I have done here is taken some of my past memories and put them in present tense.
In another week I will post actual present-day stories.
Thank you so much for the compliment Kelly. :)

PS. My middle name is Kelly. :)

I love the imagery created by the words, at the least the ones cast in my head. Makes ya smile just thinking about such a beautiful scene.
