Waiting
My heart belongs to someone
This I am so sure
I awoke one day happy
And the next looking for a cure
I once had a sweet girl
We loved each other so
At night we’d lie together
And cuddle close and curl
Those days are gone forever
She has changed her ways
I put myself back into hiding
And am waiting and counting days
I really wish I could find
A girl who could steal my heart
But if I did I swear this time
We’d never break apart
I do have someone special
Very close in mind
And one day soon I’ll open up
And let my true heart shine
