Topic of the month…

topic-of-the-month

When I sat down to finish the sentence “The thing about lesbians is…” I drew a complete blank. I pondered over what to write, what general “about lesbians” theme can I take and put my own spin on it? Even right now I have a hard time finishing that sentence. I don’t think there really is a thing “about lesbians”, I’m sure each one of us are different, and that each one of us has had experiences that make us who we are, but can I generalize it? No.

So my contribution is simple, and complicated. :)

“The thing about lesbians is….that each one of us is different, and inside those differences we have one key thing in common : we love women.

Now raise you’re hand, who doesn’t love women? I don’t think I’ll get any hands raised.

There is always, always, girl-lesbian drama between lesbian couples, but would we really be the same without it? I think not.

I love my girlfriend and it is calm, and sweet, and full of passion. I wouldn’t be straight for anything in the world. If I could have “chosen” being straight over being a lesbian? I would have said ‘Fuck you’ and been a lesbian. :)

Thanx.

Lesbian Quotes

I never thought to myself, I’m going to grow up and fall in love with a man or I’m going to fall in love with a woman because my mother is a lesbian. — Ally Sheedy
