Topic of the month…
When I sat down to finish the sentence “The thing about lesbians is…” I drew a complete blank. I pondered over what to write, what general “about lesbians” theme can I take and put my own spin on it? Even right now I have a hard time finishing that sentence. I don’t think there really is a thing “about lesbians”, I’m sure each one of us are different, and that each one of us has had experiences that make us who we are, but can I generalize it? No.
So my contribution is simple, and complicated.
“The thing about lesbians is….that each one of us is different, and inside those differences we have one key thing in common : we love women.
Now raise you’re hand, who doesn’t love women? I don’t think I’ll get any hands raised.
There is always, always, girl-lesbian drama between lesbian couples, but would we really be the same without it? I think not.
I love my girlfriend and it is calm, and sweet, and full of passion. I wouldn’t be straight for anything in the world. If I could have “chosen” being straight over being a lesbian? I would have said ‘Fuck you’ and been a lesbian.
Thanx.
