Being "out" at work

being-out-at-work

The question here is not whether a lesbian should be “out” at work but how many people have properly working gaydar and how you would feel being under fire from persons who “just don’t understand.”
Some people are obvious that they are lesbian. They just have that natural look about them and they are easy as pie to spot and say “Oh she is gay!.” I myself will throw on a dress shirt and tie here and there at the bank I work at and BOY do I get the looks from some. You think by now the people I have worked with for 17 years would get the hint and just let it go.
On the other hand some women do not like to be under the radar and do not act or look in any way shape or form of being gay. There is nothing wrong with this until one of your co-workers spots you out somewhere with a significant other on the weekend and tells everyone about it.
I guess what I am trying to say is be comfterble with yourself. If you feel like expressing your gay side than do it! If you would rather leave the mystery to the lass you go out with on a day off than do so!
It is free to choose what persona you want to project but for me a shirt and tie now and again is it baby!

Lesbian Quotes

I never thought to myself, I’m going to grow up and fall in love with a man or I’m going to fall in love with a woman because my mother is a lesbian. — Ally Sheedy
