Barbara Payton: A Talent You All Need to Hear

I wanted to take the time to share with all of you one of my favorite local lesbian talents here in the mitten state of Michigan. Her name is Barbara Payton and her performances have moved me in more ways than one. We all know her around these parts, and although it’s hard to give her up, I have decided it’s best to share her with the world.
I invite you all to check out her website and listen to a few of her songs. She has a passion for her talent that is raw and admirable. I feel guilty knowing that I can see her perform live at least a half a dozen times a year. I love all kinds of music, but not all kinds of music move me. Her voice makes me smile, cry, and shiver.
