I aaaam canadian! :)
yesterday our government passed a law to legalize same sex marriages country-wide 
it wasn’t easy as there’s some party that is totally against it… the leader of that party I like to call miniBush… for obvious reasons… he’s as stubborn as stupid as anti gay and anti abortion and pro war as Bush is… among others… lol
so Canada is now joining the netherlands and belgium as the only countries in the world to have such law…
and well sue me I’m damn proud
not that I wanna get married myself… I’m not very religious if at all + my vision of marriage is different than the church thingy and all…
I just find it a very important victory for human rights… we’re not telling people they can’t marry other races, nor religions… so why would we prevent people from marrying same sexes?!?
so ya… I’m very proud to be canadian although I loooove the usa, I think it’s about time that we stop being their lil puppy following them around wherever they go… started with not going to war… now this… ya… it’s getting better every day
