Out Comes The Bride In A Romantic Comedy With A Surprise Twist

Imagine Me & You

CENTURY CITY, Calif. – Imagine being a bride and meeting the love of your life on your wedding day and it’s not the man you are about to marry…it’s a woman! Such is the dilemma of Rachel (Piper Perabo) in IMAGINE ME & YOU , arriving on DVD June 27, 2006 from Fox Home Entertainment. The bride is out and the laughs are in, IMAGINE ME & YOU is a comedy that isn’t afraid to “throw a few curves into the rec room of romantic triangles” (Newsday). Also starring Lena Headey (The Brothers Grimm), Matthew Goode (Match Point) and Anthony Head (TV’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer), IMAGINE ME & YOU marks the directorial debut of Ol Parker, a critically-acclaimed screenwriter who also wrote the screenplay. The IMAGINE ME & YOU DVD includes a director’s commentary, deleted and extended scenes, a Making-Of featurette and more. The DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $27.98 U.S./$43.48 Canada .

DVD Special Features:

The IMAGINE ME & YOU DVD includes a full-length feature commentary with director and writer Ol Parker, deleted and extended scenes with commentary, a Making-Of featurette and a director’s statement. The DVD is presented in both widescreen (2.35:1) and full screen (1.33:1) on a flipper disc with English Dolby Digital 5.1 and Spanish Dolby Surround, as well as English, Spanish and French subtitles.

Synopsis:

Piper Perabo lights up the screen as Rachel, a blushing bride whose perfect nuptials take a surprising turn at the altar. An innocent glance between Rachel and an unexpected wedding guest is all it takes to spark a ‘love at first sight’ romance with a surprising twist — the object of Rachel’s affection is a smart and sensuous… woman! Their shocking romance causes quite a stir amongst her family and friends as Rachel is forced to choose between her husband and the girl of her dreams. Say ‘I do’ to the wonderfully witty film that Cosmopolitan calls “a refreshing romantic comedy.”
