Attack of…"The Gay"

attack-ofthe-gay

Does gay run in my family? We all suspect that my mother’s youngest brother is gay. He lives in a house that he kind of shares with his mother. She still does his laundry and cleans house. He isn’t married. He doesn’t have a girlfriend. In fact, I don’t think he’s ever been in a serious relationship. He’s in love with a married woman. We all know that closeted folks fall for people they can’t have (I think they do it on purpose.) He also has a plethora of porn on his computer. It’s a little creepy. Okay, a lot creepy.

My mom recently told me about a fling my biological father had before they started dating. Turns out, he had a boyfriend and had come out to the entire town. He only broke up with the boy because people were mean to him. I cracked up when she told me about that. My bio father is a fag. I wonder if his other daughter knows. Bahaha.

I have a feeling that my middle sister is gay. She has only ever fallen for gay men (Clay Aiken). She has an “If I was gay” list. Shakira is number one on that list. She jokingly said that she knows she isn’t gay because she doesn’t think Angelina Jolie is hot. I think she’s lying. She’s the best fag hag in the world. There’s got to be more to it.

I waffle about whether or not homosexuality is hereditary. Both my cousin and I are gay, and suspicion abounds about another family member after accidentally finding some videos and magazines in the trunk of his car. And yet, among my gay and lesbian friends, very few have a sibling or other relative who is also homosexual.

My parents had two daughters, my sister and I, who are both gay. In our family “gayness” runs deep. A Great Aunt, 3 Cousins and a Great Uncle. Maybe families who grow up with so many gay mentors make it easier and more acceptable for others to come out. However,I tend to think it’s something in the genes that makes us all so wonderful!

“If I was gay” list! I’m not the only one! Before I was out to myself, I would have *many* “If I were gay” thoughts. All more appealing than any heterosexual thought I’d think, which were few as I determined I’d not marry a man, live alone and be the crazy cat lady down the street.

A family and loving relationship with the love of my life so beats cats. Thank God I’m out.

Heterosexuality has been forcibly and subliminally imposed on women. Yet everywhere women have resisted it, often at the cost of physical torture, imprisonment, psychosurgery, social ostracism, and extreme poverty. — Adrienne Rich
