shameless plug of a veeeery dear friend
there is a very special group of women touring the usa and parts of canada in order to provide endless laughter :)this group is called the Dykes of Hazard featuring three lesbian stand up comics : Slim Bloodworth from Texas, Linda Ellis from Toronto and Kristen Becker from either New York or Lousiana if not both… lol
Now, I have yet to see them perform… well them as the Dyke of Hazard tour… but Slim is a very good friend of mine and I’ve seen her numerous times in Ottawa…and I am excited to go see them when they come to Montreal on December 6th…so if you’ve got the opportunity to go see them as they tour your city, please do so!
I think that to come up with such a touring idea for lesbians is a pretty original idea which if it doesn’t end up helping making people more open minded about lesbians, should at least allow us to laugh our asses off about ourselves, our lives, our good sides and our flaws
