Letter from the Editor January 2008

letter-from-the-editor-january-2008

It’s been a crazy few months for me. My Aunt recently passed away, which is the 4th death in my family in less then a year. Last weekend I was in the hospital with a pain I would not wish on my worst enemy. After some blood work, x-rays, and a cat scan it was determined that I have a 9 millimeter kidney stone floating around in my poor little left kidney! I can’t really even explain to you what the pain felt like, but I’m sure those of you that have had one know exactly what I’m talking about. And I won’t even get into the details about the stent I have in me at the moment or the upcoming Lithotripsy procedure.

With that said it looks like the TLL is up and running minus a few minor glitches. When the comments went down yesterday I almost shat a baby monkey! I’m happy to announce that the following companies are sponsoring this years TLL Lesbian Blog of the Year.

I apologize that the nominations were a bit confusing. I hope to have this all down pat by year 3. It’s all rather overwhelming at the moment as you can imagine.

So please make sure to update your links to the new site and tell your readers about TLL. I was going through the TLL blog roll today and was amazed at how many lesbian blogs have vanished into the bloggers graveyard. I am happy to say that TLL is in it’s 4th year and we keep on getting better with time. And that I can only attribute to the authors!

Thanks again to everyone for their help. The new banner was all Lori from Dykes and the City!!! I owe her a GIANT hug from across the pond. Take care to all and remember to keep telling your stories!!!

Kelly AKA Goldstardyke

Well wish you luck. Thanks for all the things you do for us and keep it up.
