I donated. I received tons of emails. I got burned out on the whole thing. I agree that nothing much will change, but I pray that we won't get another Bush-type. I don't think our country can afford to lose more rights and more respect in the world. I have been sending the multitude of political donation emails to spam. I'll vote for who I think is the most sincere, but I know that either they will forget their promises when the win or there will be so much backlash from the rich trying to continue stomping on the poor, there's no way that they will get anything through.
