The 2008 NewNowNext Awards
I’m not going to lie, I have a thing for award shows. I blame my mom, but I have also promised myself that I will get her and I to the bleachers at the Oscars one of these years! Perusing the Internet, as I do when I am getting paid to work, I found that LOGO is holding a GLBT awards show! Well hot damn, another one to add to the list.
The best part is the categories are ala MTV. Things like OMFG Internet Award, Totally Most Rad Sickest Blog Ever, and Most Addictive Reality Star. Then when I found out that Dorothy Surrenders was nominated in the blog category I knew I had to post something to let you all know to go VOTE!
I promise LOGO didn’t set me up with Jill Bennett to do this. I really just wanted to support TLL’s 2008 Lesbian Blog of the Year, and of course that thing I have with award shows. So please, vote and enjoy.
