Six Degrees of Suburban Lesbian
What a small, small world this Internet is. I’m sure Al Gore had no idea what a monster he’d unleashed. A long time ago, when I started exploring this thing called blog, I typed in “lesbian blogs.” The one that caught my eye was called Suburban Lesbian.
I started mulling the idea of my own blog. I used Suzanne’s blogroll as a launching point to bloggity goodness that led me across the blogsophere and gave me a picture of what other lesbian bloggers were doing. Later, I discovered that even one of my favorite lesbian mystery writers, Sandra Scoppteone, linked to her. Suburban Lesbian was everywhere. East Coast, West Coast, the Midwest.
I have since discovered this new scientific phenomenon heretofore undiscovered. I call it the Six Degrees of Suburban Lesbian. Pick any lesbian blog. Within six steps you will find Suzanne. Try it. It works.
Yes! Apparently she is the lesbian Kevin Bacon. I’ve been a silent fan of hers for years. Thanks for pointing this out.
