Today is the last day to donate to the www.8against8.com fundraising campaign to vote No on Proposition 8 in California. I want to take this time to thank all the bloggers that were a part of this. It was an honor to be a part of such a well known group of lesbian bloggers. As of this moment we have raised over $12,500 dollars! And a huge thanks to Grace Chu for getting us all together and making a thought into reality. Please make sure to blog roll all of these amazing lesbian authored blogs.

I also need to thank all those that posted about 8against8 on their own blogs. Those first few days the word spread like wild fire. It was fun to watch all the links popping up and all the comments coming in. One of the sites that posted about the fundraiser was Good As You. All it took was an email to Jeremy and he was more than willing to help. He also wanted me to let all of you know that he’s currently running an “L Word” DVD giveaway tied in to the Prop 8 fight, where he’s asking folks to write in telling what they have done or what they will vow to do in the next week to stop the nasty initiative.  Be sure to visit Good As You for a chance to win the DVDs.

So if you haven’t already please donate what you can to www.8against8.com. If you don’t have the money show your support by blogging about it or sending emails to your friends and family to educate them. Most importantly we all need to get out there and VOTE on November 4th. No matter what our views we need to get them heard.
