I’d Rather be Playing World of Warcraft

id-rather-be-playing-world-of-warcraft
Hot:

There. I said it. I play World of Warcraft. I’m here and I’m queer. Wait, no, wrong line. Anywho, I LOVE playing WOW. It saddens me that the game is male dominated. Why are computer/video games considered to be something that guys do? Why does everyone in the game assume that I am a guy playing a female character because I think she’s hot? I’m no pro…but I think I’m pretty good with my main character (a level 57 female Orc Warlock; demonology specialized; Mining 215/Skinning 307/First Aid 300). I am almost beside myself with excitement about the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack. I am trying to get my character as close to 70 as I can in a week.

I think it would be amazing to create a guild full of just female players. Gay, straight, queer, whatever. I know I’m not the only nerd here. if you play WOW, speak up! Be proud! Play with me! I can be found on the US server Vashj. My characters names are Heddai (main), Phedre, Kokopele, and Holyterror. Don’t be afraid. OWN IT!

I assure you that there are lesbian gamers out there. I’m not a WOW player, but I am on pins and needles waiting for the new Call of Duty to come out for Xbox this Tuesday. I would have to assume that there are communities out that for lesbians who play WOW. And if there isn’t you should create on and watch all the women show up.

OMG I love that game! I don’t play it anymore, my dad got me hooked on EverQuest 2, haha.
But level 57?! HOLY CRAP I can’t even keep one character cuz I get bored with it xD
But that’s awesome~

I am a new WOW player but I am addicted. I am a level 27 Troll, Hunter. Specializing in beast mastery. I play on the feathermoom server. In a guild named shadowwraiths. I would love to be part of your all women guild. Let me know.

I just ran across this blog searching for lgbt related WoW pages. As I have combed over the people near where I live who made big donations to the Prop 8 campaign, I ran across a Blizzard artist who has gone so far as to equate gays and lesbians as people who should be punished, not rewarded for their lack of self-control. In any case, I run down why I think his company should answer for the content of his blog and other things in the link attached to my username. Best wishes from Orange County!

I came across your post also looking for GLBT WoW fanatics…if you make an all female guild, I’ll totally join…but I might re-roll since I’m too cheap to pay for a character transfer.

I came across this as really only the lesbian post found for WoW everything else on the forums sept I am banned for opening an old thread with no warning therefore i can’t talk on forums…..Maybe ya’ll will understand my dilemma I am a lesbian I do play WoW but I’d rather play as a male character than a female character.. because i feel like i am the guy in the relationship…. is this wierd? or are others like me? I want to look for someone in WoW who can except me.. and someone to play with a girlfriend… it would be nice… since we can’t really express ourselves in WoW this is the only other place i can chat at

Im an obsessed World of Warcraft player and I’m a Lezbot!!!! I run on the Shu’halo server… you’re not totally alone xD

by Szabo on February 28th, 2009 at 4:18 PM

I’m on the Shu’halo server too. This game is very addictive! I also prefer to play with my male warrior character, rather than my female character. I actually run a lot of quests with another female player that I found online, and it is a blast.

I’m also on Shu’Halo as Kayakershell – LVL 80 Night Elf Druid. Look me up lets quest.

I am amazingly happy to see other lesbian wow players out there! I am a terribly green n00b, only lvl 15 undead mage on the venture co server. my character’s name is aygestine and I am interested in any and all connectivity with other lesbian players. I am more than willing to create an alt character on any server where a lesbo guild is forming! *bookmarking page*

Ah! I play wow (i’m a closet warcraft player).. and right now i’ve got two guy characters. This makes it tough to find other Lesbian players online, heh. Does that make sense?
I’m switching to a new realm — anyone want to start a guild?

by Em on June 2nd, 2009 at 2:00 PM

@Em – I’m definately a WoW player… and interested in a all girl guild. Let’s face it… boys are ew… let’s do this. Someone contact me: Blayzed 61 Priest Server: Durotan.

GIRLS DO IT BETTER!!

by Val on November 10th, 2009 at 12:16 PM

I play WOW on Garona my ex and I run a GLBT friendly guild name Spectrum Rage pm the horde side. I love WOW and so need to find another gamer girl! I am not as addicted as I once was but still would love to have someone that enjoys the game and wouldn’t question those long Saturday night raids. Our guild is both girls and guys and I love the guys because they balance the place out PLUS we get to gross them out and that is great.

OH and I so agree with Val , GIRLS DO IT BETTER without a doubt!!

by Ephiny on November 16th, 2009 at 9:03 PM

I have a toon on Garona in Spectrum Blade =) I do prefer the Horde though, So I might check it out! I’m kind of bouncing around realms right now trying to find the perfect fit before I pay to have one of my 80’s transferred (Horde or Alliance). I’d love any suggestions!

by liz on December 4th, 2009 at 3:21 AM

I’m on Aerie Peak and would love to join an all women of lgbt friendly guild. I’m a noob who hasn’t met many people yet, and none of my friends will play, not even my ex when we were dating :(

by Ashley on December 15th, 2009 at 4:14 AM

@Ashley – You could always come hang out on Antonidas! I’m always looking for someone to quest with or whatever. I go by Márs or Marsbars =)

by liz on December 30th, 2009 at 10:44 PM

I am so late but I am on The Forgotten Coast and I totally agree with you, there needs to be a lgbt guild that would be amazing. Hit me up on there, my main’s name is Megera. 80 Warlock. I’m Ally. :)

Lesbian Quotes

You can’t type what a lesbian is. We’re anything and everything. The one thing in common is that we make love to other women. So give up trying to limit us. — Amanda Bearse
