check… check… 1… 2…

I am so excited to find this site because I have been itching to start writing again. I used to write A LOT when I was younger (meaning like 3-5 years ago, I’m only 24) and I wrote even more when I was single. It’s something that I’m not necessarily very good at doing, but I enjoy it. I always find myself wanting to write but when that motivation hits me, my brain is blank and I have no idea where to even begin. So I really like the fact that TLL has topics each month. That will get my brain going, for sure!

I don’t want to bog down this first entry with my whole life story. I’m sure it will slowly start to unfold the more I write. Be prepared to read about music, activism, technology and all of the projects that I have going on.

This Friday, I will be heading up to DC. I got accepted to the National LGBT Blogger and Citizen Journalist Initiative. The weekend will include workshops and discussions about blogging and how it can benefit the LGBT community. I think this is a great idea and I’m so glad that I will be a part of it. I’m excited to meet other queer bloggers! I will definitely be sure to write about all the things I learn over the weekend. Oh! If anyone else will be attending, please get in touch!
