I Have a Thought wrote "You have to wonder what your own family might be saying about you when you walk out of the door."

I know some of my cousins talk to each other about me but it doesn't bother me because they talk about (gossip) people who are heterosexual also. :) They don't say anything to me directly about my sexuality and they treat me like family. They talk about each other too. People like to gossip.

It is how people treat you and other people like you that matters. Some heterosexuals don't understand homosexuality but they don't beat up gay people or verbally abuse gay people or turn against gay family members. A cousin recently renewed her wedding vows and I didn't go because I know she voted against me having the legal right to marry. We still get along because we allow each other to feel what we feel. She doesn't try to change me and I don't try to change her.

Denise thinks the world revolves around hetero-men which makes me suspect that Denise is male OR a female who is submissive to men and doesn't think for herself. Why should a woman behave and dress a certain way just so some insecure hetero-men will feel like men?

Instead of telling abusers to stop, Denise tells lesbians to stop being activist, dress and behave in a manner that is pleasing to insecure hetero-males or we could be wiped out. Den's rhetoric could just be that she is jealous that a lesbian can do for herself without a man dictating, can buy her own bacon, build her own house AND sex a woman.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('6439','Salty'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('6439','Salty','I Have a Thought wrote \"You have to wonder what your own family might be saying about you when you walk out of the door.\"\r\n\r\nI know some of my cousins talk to each other about me but it doesn\'t bother me because they talk about (gossip) people who are heterosexual also. :) They don\'t say anything to me directly about my sexuality and they treat me like family.
Yeah, like the above post, I just read this now too. It's crazy! Let me get this right...

Denise believes that if he feels nauseous when he sees other people wearing or doing things that he doesn't like, and if they are in the minority, then it is completely OK for them to be subjected to hate crimes and physically harmed. In his opinion it is their fault.

And now here is Denise in this forum, where he is in the minority and making people nauseous by things that he is doing. So if there ever was any legitimacy to Denise's opinion, we would all now be entitled to abuse him, bash him, subject him to whatever response we felt like and it would all be Denise's fault for not keeping his head down and shutting up.

What a pumpkin-head! It looks so idiotic when you think of it like that doesn't it Denise? Or should we send the goon squad over to your house now?<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('6436','Also lauughing'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('6436','Also lauughing','Yeah, like the above post, I just read this now too.
This topic is over a year old, but I just read it. I laughed and I'm still laughing as I type this. Oh we lesbians make some heterosexuals nauceous but they seek us out. Now when I first began surfing for lesbian sites to get acquainted with other women it took me some time before I came across this site. So how are heterosexuals who don't like us just stumbling across this site or any lesbian forums when "lesbian" is in the title? I have the feeling that Denise is not a woman at all, so was probably looking for female-female porn, which is abundant when searching for lesbian sites. :)

I usually find it humorous when heterosexuals, who oppose us, try to explain why they behave the way they do toward us. And it is always front and center that they claim not to want to see us or acknowledge that we exist but they seek us out on the web and watch female-female porn. They have to read erotica and watch porn to know so much about what they imagine we do in private. :)

Marriage is a man-made concept because men didn't want to raise children fathered by other men. Some who wanted to be mini-gods, needed a kingdom, hence, a man's home is his castle and his subjects are his wife and children. Men who attack women for being lesbians just says how insignificant they feel. If a woman can get what she needs and wants without a man (material things and an orgasm), then what is a man for? That's his own personal image of himself and has nothing to do with a woman whatever her sexuality.

Men are not gifts to women. Love and sexuality is a gift for all living creatures for procreation and for pleasure. Living things can feel and we all generally seek to be among those who make us feel. Even Denise liked the interaction with "lesbians" which she / he maybe could not get from someone in his / her personal life. Denise don't know that some women who love women can enjoy each other without even being in the same room and can even enjoy each other when in the same room but not physically touching. So the sexual activity that makes some heterosexuals nauceous is really all in his / her mind. They should use that energy to try to find someone to make them feel good without even touching. :) It is not my fault that they can't do that "I feel you" thing without physically feeling someone. (wink) :)

Marriage is obviously not needed to procreate. It takes an egg from a female and sperm from a male and humans don't even have to be in the same building to make a new life. If some heterosexuals are feeling like there are not enough people of the opposite-sex for them or their heterosexual children to mate with, then they should be searching sites to find people to mate with and leave us lesbians alone. :)<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('6405','Salty'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('6405','Salty','This topic is over a year old, but I just read it.
Not at all dear Denise:
The degree to which you are in denial about being a bigot is astounding. Claiming marriage is only for having children? What a specious rationalization for the denial of equal rights and privileges. That would preclude women who have had hysterectomies from getting married. Trying to blame your own alleged physical revulsion and nausea on the people you are disrespecting rather than acknowledging your own psychological problems could be construed as a form of projection. Your lame rationalizations for discrimination seem akin to the recitations of a brainwashed child Ku Klux Klansmen who have grown up without having the experience or open mindedness necessary for cogent cogitation on the subject.
