These Women
These women
These women find me through my words
Anonymous sentences that strangle their hearts
Hearts that have forgotten how to flutter
Hearts that no longer have time for imagination
So I take these women in
Because I can
Because part of me needs them too
We find our balance
Then we find out that control has no middle ground
So I step up
I do it because I’ve done this before
But I won’t tell her
Because it’s my job to make her feel like she’s the only one
It’s my job to let her know I’m the only one
These women live normal lives
Married
No
Church going
Maybe
But when they are with me all they want is direction
And I have become a master at the dance called domination
I blame it on my mind
And thank God for my submissive heart
If not for that I would never find my way out
So these women
These women come and go
I own each experience with the power of a nation
And they all love being mine
Until they fall
And when they do is when I have to tell them
Tell them they weren’t the only one
Their tears frighten me
Their pleads amuse me
They’re the one’s fucking the devil not I
I will never tell a woman I love her
I will never get down on one knee
Never will I allow my heart to fall prisoner to my mind
For me it is about all of these women
Each one holding a place in my mind
