The Lezzys Are Coming!
2009 is here! The US has a new president, The L word jumps the shark again, and The Lezzys are almost here! The Lezzys are an all lesbian blog award compition. It’s TLL’s way to spotlight the lesbian blogs that you love and want to see recognized. This year the awards have a fancy new name and 8 categories to vote on. The nominations will begin on Monday February 2nd. For more detailed information on the awards please visit The Lezzys.
It was a hard task to find sponsors to donate prizes this year. I can’t blame most, as the economy is not what it used to be. I would like to take this time to give an extra special thank you to those companies that did donate to the awards. The donations and those that made the donations are listed below. So what can you do to get read for The Lezzys? First I would think about what blog you want to nominate in each category. Then I would think about if you want to get in on the competition. The Lezzys are a great way for a little lesbian blog to be seen by many. Let your readers know about the awards. Mention it on your MySpace, Twitter, or Facebook account. If you don’t want to be in the running make sure to support your favorite blog by nominating them to make sure they make it to the Top 3 nominated blogs in their category.
