TLL Adult Review: Kama Diva Plug

tll-approved Don Wands is a name that I had only heard associated with glass dildos in the past, but when I saw that they also made butt plugs I was definitely interested. The Kama Diva plug is made of urethane, which is ultra-smooth, hypo-allergenic, water proof and phthalates free. This is good because, as many of you may know, phthalates aren’t good for you and are definitely not anything you want in your Sex Toys. The package says that the plug is “hand swirled” (they’re referring to the swirly color design) and that it is made in the USA! Bonus points for that.

One thing that I was surprised about, being unfamiliar with urethane, was that it’s hard but it has a different quality than plastic does. It feels a lot better than hard plastic, and its temperature doesn’t fluctuate like metal or glass toys do. So it’s just very hard, very smooth and not frickin’ freezing when you grab it from your chilly bedroom.

Thoughts:

It’s an interesting shape. The shape feels good inside, but the base being round AND solid makes it a tad strange. What I mean to say is, there’s this hard round base between your buttcheeks. This isn’t the most comfy situation ever, but it won’t keep me from using it again. The plus here is that you’re always dead sure it’s not getting sucked in.
It came with a very cool, very poufy storage bag. All toys should come with a protective storage bag. Your plug will not get damaged if it’s stored in this case. However, the first time I put it back I busted the string (it was not knotted, just hot glued or melted to connect the cord). I was able to thread it back through, and knotted it. Regardless, this loses it a point. If you decide the poufy pouch doesn’t work for you, you might want to Hide ‘n’ Seek it to keep it safe.
The size is modest, 4 inches long with a diameter of 1.25 inches. I had a bigger plug, more like 1.5 inches and it has never been comfortable for me, and this one wasn’t difficult at all. I could definitely feel it in there, and it stayed put. The extra bump feels really good. If I was doing this again, I might try the medium because it’s a different shape, but I might not because of the size. However, based on material, styling, ease of sanitation, and overall look and feel, I adore this thing and would buy more.
It’s very pretty, and it also comes in purple, blue and rainbow, and also in other styles and sizes.

Care instructions (as written on packaging):

Clean with soap and warm water before and after each use.
Store in protective padded pouch.
Water and silicone based lubricant friendly.

FREEBIE! This came with a free sample of Wet Platinum. It claims that it’s never sticky. I have found this to be true. It’s nice and slick, and quite lovely. One sample pillow pack was all that was needed to comfortably use this plug one time. It’s silicone based, but with this urethane toy, that’s not a problem at all. Just be careful if you’re using other toys too, or touch a silicone toy after playing with silicone lube, because you don’t want to damage your toys. This was good for anal, but I also occasionally enjoy a bit of silicone lube when I need a hand in the wetness department, because it’s so slick you don’t need much at all.
