Writer Appreciation…

writer-appreciation
Hot:

The thing that struck me the most about the other blogs that have been nominated for Lezzy’s is that I don’t read any of them. I’ve never heard of most of them before. If they are so good, how did I miss them? I mean, look at my blogroll. It’s not a short list and I do read each and every one of them. It just goes to show that I need to spend more time surfing and discovering what other wonderful blogs exist.

I’m constantly looking at my stats. I like to see how people are finding me and today, I noticed that I’m getting blog traffic from a few new places. Normally, it’s someone that has added me to their blogroll. Today, I was getting traffic from my competitors!

I click on the link to Riese’s blog, This Girl Called Automatic Win. She writes about this blog and the other nominee, “I love them both already, they’re fresh young muffins of delight.” Isn’t that like super sweet? I read one of her entries and I must admit, it’s completely and totally random. I love randomness! Is that what it means to have a good personal blog? Randomness?

My other competition, Peaches & Coconuts, writes, “I’ve got to bring my A-Game next to the likes of A Brown Girl Gone Gay and This Girl Called Automatic Win – fantastic blogs I’ve already started following.” Deborah has an entire hilarious list of reasons why her readers should vote for her.

With all of that being said, go visit these blogs. Read and comment, but please don’t forget to vote for me!

Luv yall!
