TLL Adult Review: Liv

tll-approvedThank you, Babeland, for the opportunity to review the Liv! LELO calls this and the Gigi their “mid-size” vibrator. I really like the Liv for a number of reasons. It’s really classy looking, and it’s got a slow curve sort of shape that really fits in the palm of a smaller hand quite well. I’m ever on a quest to find the perfect vibe that I can hold in my hand, the butt of the vibe against my palm, while I go at it. That’s my favorite way to hold a vibe for clitoral stimulation, and it was a problem I encountered with the Mia. The Mia cap would start to slide off while I would get to gettin’. With this, there is no such problem. It’s a solid, one piece vibe, no caps, nothing that comes off. The controls are easy to use. “Plus” to increase vibration, “minus” to decrease, the up arrow to shift through vibe settings and the down arrow to shift back through them. It’s rechargeable, just like all of LELO‘s vibes. It also comes with a white satin storage bag, 1 year warranty, and the snazzy black LELO box.

Important Points

This is a good deal stronger than the Mia and the Lily, I’d daresay twice as strong. The motor is in the tip, and the shape of the vibe makes it perfect for clitoral stimulation, as well as for penetration. The swell of the curve at the head feels nice inside, without being too much to handle.

The insertable/vibrating part is made of silicone. Only use it with water based lube. To clean, use soap and water on the silicone, taking care not to get moisture in the buttons or plug port. The thing that I really love about this vibe is that it has a small silicone bit that pops into the port on the white end that you plug the charger into. This helps keep any moisture out of the plug. It’s something that the Lily lacked that I’m really glad that the Lily has. The little bit of white silicone even says LELO on it. It’s really cute.

Additionally…

I liked this vibe so much that I got one for my mom. That’s what I said. It just seemed like a really good fit for her. It’s rechargeable, very sturdy, silicone, and has a variety of speed and pulse settings, and a one year warranty. It’s also really versatile, because it’s not specific to either clit or penetration: it’s good for both. It’s also a really pretty vibe, not some weird looking junk vibe. It’s a really adult looking piece of tech, and I wanted my mom to have something really beautiful that would make her feel really good.

I asked my mom let me know what she thought of it, and to comment on what about this vibrator she thought might appeal (or not appeal) to women her age (around 50 or so). She had this to say:

“I like it. It’s easy to use with your left or right hand, and it’s a really good size (for usability). It would be good for someone with limited mobility (who might not be comfortable reaching or bending so much). It’s really good quality, too.

There you have it. Gotta trust a mom. Get one for yourself from Babeland!

A word on the LELO warranty

My Mia tragically died. It was sudden, and it was tragic. Mia was all switched on and we were having a good time, and she just… stopped. I contacted LELO via their website, explained my problem, and pouted a little for good measure. They sent me a brand new Mia! The turnaround was fantastic, just about a week, and they let me pick the color I wanted to make up for the inconvenience. I chose the pale pink… why not? The new one works, and it’s just as amazing as ever. If you get a LELO toy, tuck your receipt into the black box and, in the event it bites it, contact LELO! That’s what the warranty is there for. And tell them I said hi. :)   They’re nice over there.
