TLL Adult Review: Gigi

tll-approvedGigi is one of Vibe Review‘s top rated vibrators, and I think I know why. It’s a g-spot seeking missile, I swear. This is shaped very much the same as the Ella dildo (which I love), except either end of the Ella dildo can be inserted whereas you really don’t want to insert the controls of Gigi into your vagina. The flat tip on the curve is good not only for pressing on and stimulating your g-spot, but is also really nice rubbing against your clit, which makes this a really versatile vibrator.

Basics

Like all LELO items, this comes in a nice box with a silky drawstring case, charger, warranty, and instructions. The insertable end is silicone, so wash with soap and water, and the control end is plastic with a silicone stopper to cover the charging port. Keep water off this end. Same drill as the Liv.

What’s the difference between Gigi and Liv?

Gigi LELOThey’re both mid-sized LELO vibrators with a single motor. While the Liv is shaped with a narrow tip that swells and narrows again, which is good in its own way for insertion and clitoral stimulation, it does not have the ability to zero in on your g-spot the way that Gigi does.

Maybe there are two “G’s in Gigi’s name because she’s just THAT good at getting to the g-spot. It’s really an unspeakably good feeling to have this shape inside you, gently arcing up into your g-spot, and vibrating. This is everything I loved about Ella, except with vibrations! Using Gigi was the first time I could actually, literally feel my g-spot swell with stimulation and arousal, and while I didn’t end up having a completely g-spot orgasm without clitoral stimulation (mainly because my partner is cruel), I could have. And quickly. It was astounding how fast it took for me to get close to a g-spot orgasm, when a lot of the time I struggle with them. The sensations are almost fluttery. What I particularly liked was how the tingling of arousal and excitement spread up my spine and down my thighs… I’m the sort who usually experiences orgasms in my genitals only, but I’ve heard stories from people who have the full body tingling orgasms… this got me there. Obviously, results will vary and prior results do not ensure similar outcomes and all that such small print nonsense, but the combination of the g-spot seeking shape and the vibrations focused in that shape combine to make this a formidable toy.

So to summarize, Liv and Gigi are similar in size and identical in materials and motor power, but the shape of the Gigi makes it shine as a g-spot toy and is arguably better for clitoral stimulation in my book. The Liv is “dildo” shaped, in an elegant sort of way, if you prefer that.

Who might like the Gigi?

In my opinion, the Gigi would make a very ideal beginner toy for someone wanting a quality item but who doesn’t necessarily know what kind of stimulation they prefer. It’s versatile and you can experiment using it for insertion and g-spot stimulation, thrusting and clitoral stimulation. It has a one year warranty and is silicone and easy to clean. It’s rechargable, so you won’t buy batteries for it ever, and it has a decent range of vibration. It’s not as strong as the Onye by BigTeaze or the Hitachi, but you might like Gigi more if you want something insertable, which neither of the other two can do, or if you don’t want to deal with batteries (Onye) or power cords (Hitachi). It’s up to your own preferences, but if you decide the Gigi has the qualities you’re looking for in a toy, I’m confident you’ll like it.
