I’ll probably burn for this, but what the heck. Happy Easter, I finally tried a rabbit style vibrator! The Silicone Bliss Vibe is by California Exotics and available from Sex Toys, and is made of silicone and is 100% waterproof, though I have not tested that feature out.

This is possibly the only vibrator that I don’t care for. It got me off once, but I brought a lot to that party in my pants. I was incredibly turned on, fantasizing about… well, you don’t need to know. I spent a lot of time with that vibrator that time, and actually ended up helping it out, pressing the clitoral part against my clit a little harder. If you just hold the base of the vibe, it doesn’t press very hard, and I need some pressure. Also, it’s not very strong. There’s controls for the “ears” part (which isn’t really ear-like on this vibe) that turn it on and then increases vibration. There’s also a button to turn the bead part on the shaft on, and another button to change the direction that the beads spin. The direction doesn’t change how it feels, for me, and I’d have preferred a higher setting, some more action, something.

Some rabbit style vibes have different things they do. This one just had beads that spin, but some have shafts that pump (sort of “fucking action”). Some gyrate in more pronounced ways. Some have bigger, badassier beads. I can’t put my finger on just why I didn’t like this one because I’ve never tried another rabbit vibrator, but I sense I’d like it more if the clit part had more settings and more power, and if the beads gyrated more, or if the curve lined up with my g-spot better. A thrusty head would be nice too.

My big problem was that this is an awkward toy. It’s long and the controls are at the base and it’s straight shaped, so using it myself, I had to be all curled forwards to use the controls, or like squeeze my thighs together to keep it in place and lay back. It was easier to have a partner use, but then they’ve got to position it just so and so once they’ve got it, you’re just telling them to hold that position and do nothing. Which is so intimate (Sarcasm).

However, it’s a rabbit, I did get off once, and it was novel. Plus, it’s water proof, and it’s not some hideous shade of pink. I really should try it out in the shower, but can you imagine that? How would you even position yourself? I was less than impressed, and it didn’t give me a mystical g-spot and clitoral all-at-once orgasm. It made me frustrated, and more often than not I had to grab another toy or use my hand to finish. My advice? Forget the bunny this year, and try a wireless egg. I’ve tried this one, and despite it taking watch batteries, it’s so fun.
