TLL Adult Review: We-Vibe

tll-approvedThe We-Vibe, that VibeReview was kind enough to let me review, is a really unusual toy. It’s soft silicone with an internal structure that allows it to maintain shape and also flex from a “U” shape into an “L” shape in order to be inserted into the vagina. It’s big enough that one end pressed snugly into my g-spot and the other covered my clit. There are little grippy ribs on the bottom of each end, and the ones that press against the clit feel amazing. I tried this alone for the first time, and that’s really how I best like to test toys. It was so different that I really had no pre-conceived notions about how to use it. I actually put it in backwards first. One end has controls on it, that you press through the silicone to the right for low and the left for high. It’s also the end that you charge it through. That end goes against the clit. The smaller end goes inside. A note on the charging… the whole toy is wrapped in silicone so it appears not to have a charging port. But it does. Right under the button switch is a little “dimple” that you just ease the plug-in jack through, and it charges. I think it’s really snazzy. The toy comes with a glasses style clamshell case to store it in, and comes with a plug in charger and instructions which I think I’ve promptly lost.

we-vibeSolo experiences

I really liked testing out all the ways that this toy could make me feel good. I enjoyed inserting it and then rubbing the toy, making it press and flutter simultaneously against my g-spot and rub my clit. Side to side felt as good as circles. It’s an interesting toy, and personally I really almost prefer it for solo use. Initially I had a hard time actually achieving orgasm and I kept slipping a finger under the toy to go at my clit. I found it was really intense to use it and squeeze my kegal muscles at the same time. It seemed to press the inner arm right into my g-spot and felt really amazing.

Partner experiences

I don’t think my partner cares for it so much. We tried it with some penetrative sex, because the point of the toy is that it can be used during penetrative sex, and during it the inner bit of the We-Vibe will press into the g-spot and the clit end will move and rub the clit. That’s the idea. And it works pretty well for that. I really liked it because sometimes penetrative sex doesn’t do a lot for me without something extra, be it fingers or a toy against my clit. The we-vibe transferred motion from penetration to my g-spot and clit, which I really loved. The drawback was that all the motion caused it to move around a lot, so we had to keep repositioning it. I’m not sure if some more practice will make this problem go away, but if not, it’s gonna hamper heated moments. I also want to try being on top, but at the moment my knee is bothering me so that won’t be happening for a while, but they say that is the best position.

Final Thoughts

I really like this toy, and it’s one I’ve been desperately wanting for a while. However, it’s rather expensive and likely not the best first toy to buy. If you’ve never had anything before, you’re going to want a simple slimline like the Seduction or the Liv, or a bullet vibe like the Double Happiness Pleaser, or even a not so simple slimline or handheld vibrator like my all time favorite Gigi. In the event that I can’t get over the learning curve of it slipping around during penetrative partner play, it won’t get much use there. Which is a shame, because that’s the purpose of the toy. I recommend you try the We-Vibe if you think it’s something you might enjoy, if the solo thing is something you want to explore (and it really does locate your g-spot pretty well) or if you really like penetrative sex and want to add a little something extra.
