TLL Adult Review: Share
When Babeland offered the Share by Fun Factory up for review, I jumped at the chance, though it’s taken me a while to get the review done. The Share is a double dildo, a “harnessless” strap on cock, so to speak. If you’ve ever heard of the Feeldoe, this is very similar. The Share is made of silicone so it is nonporous and completely sterilizable. The large bulb end goes into the wearer, or the fucker, and the dildo end goes into the receiver, or the fuckee. I was initially very gung-ho about this toy and was all about popping it in and getting going, but my body had other ideas. The bulb is quite large and oddly shaped, and even though I do enjoy a big toy, it was a really strange sensation. It took a lot of getting used to, and I did not try to fuck with it the first several times I put it in/on. I just wore it, laying in bed, getting used to it, touching the “cock,” trying to imagine using it.
I had always wanted a Feeldoe, but when I learned about this toy I thought it looked better for a number of reasons. The silicone on the Share is matte rather than shiny which seems as though it would be easier to hold inside your vagina with your muscles alone. Also, the bulb on the Share is bigger, which would also seem to help keeping it in. Unlike the Feeldoe, the Share does not have options for different lengths and girths of the cock end, though I wish it would! I think having it a little longer would be nice, because with the way it’s designed, once it’s inside the cock part doesn’t extend super far on me because I have a big belly. The cock part is a good width, however, and feels equally good used vaginally as well as anally with some waterbased lube and preparation.
I find that the actual use of it isn’t that much different than other strapons, except that it sits way lower than a traditional strapon, so you’re thrusting from very low in your torso, pretty much from your low pubic bone. The difference is how it feels. Each motion is transmitted right to your vagina/g-spot, and there’s a raised bit between the shaft and bulb that rubs against my clit quite well and feels really good. However, the shape of the bulb takes some getting used to, and the raised bit is slightly wider and doesn’t nestle between my labia as comfortably as I’d like, and overall the whole package takes some getting used to. I used this with a harness because I was afraid of it slipping out and didn’t want to worry about that while using it, which helped a lot for my comfort level. I used it with a Spare Parts Harness, which is compatible with the Share, and is among the few available harnesses that would be. It worked really well.
I would recommend this dildo to people who’ve already used a strapon harness and regular flared base, harness compatible dildo in the past, because otherwise this is going to be really overwhelming to get used to. It also helps if you’ve got strong kegal muscles, but the use of this dildo and keeping it in using your muscles does help to strengthen them. I also like using this dildo by myself and using the bulb as a handle, but if you need more control of the motion and hold the middle of it, the bulb becomes a hindrance. I know it seems kind of lame, but the thing I think I like most is putting it in and jerking it off and fantasizing by myself. The fact that every touch and movement of it can really be felt is a huge turn on for me.
