I’m gay!
This morning, after a very fun-filled, erotic dream, I said, “omigod, I’m gay. And it’s great!” See, I’ve been denying, denying, denying, because I’ve been doing what others want me to do, and trying to make everyone else happy. I am DONE with trying to make others happy. I am the only person in control of MY emotions, and as for everyone else, they are in control of theirs. If they don’t like my choices, they can stick it. >:)
Also, I’ve recently realized that the people who I’ve been hanging out with aren’t my real friends; I HAVE real friends, and they don’t spend their days criticizing others by their skin color and smoke pot all day. I’ve got a family behind me–though going through a bit of a rough spot, I know that they love me and support me, and that is what really matters.
Now, the advice that I can give to anyone recently coming out–whether to themselves, or to anyone else, is to just follow your heart, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t strive to be who you want to be, because once you put your heart and mind to it, you can accomplish anything.
