Guest Post: My Story

I was with men most of my life, though not happily. Men never satisfied me, although I satisfied them- big deal!

Anyway, I was with this 1 guy and he decided he wanted a threesome with me and another woman, who I ended up finding online. We were together once. She and I could and did keep going- he got tired and slept some.

I realized I liked women from then on. I was with this same woman for about another year, though she told me from the beginning she was bi-sexual. I figured it was ok, at least for then….I was not really looking for more than encounters sometimes. Anyway, I ended up breaking it off with her after a while. I knew anyway, with her being bi, we’d never really be together.

Then I met this other lady online. She was a lot like me in a lot of ways. We thought alike.
We married in 2007 and are still together. I hope to always be with her. I love her deeply.

I hate to sound rude, but why did her being bisexual mean anything other than that? Plenty of us are monogamous and want a long term relationship. There is so much bi-phobia even within the GLBT community and I’m begging you not to keep it going. I’m glad you’re happy with your partner, but I hope no questioning woman reads this and fears bisexual women. Let’s try to be inclusive here, OK? There’s enough discrimination of the entire community as it is.
