TLL Adult Review: Lockable Vibrator Case

tll-approvedJust because the Lockable Vibrator Case available at VibeReview says it’s for vibrators doesn’t mean you can’t lock other things inside. Mine is the large black one, and it’s plenty large enough for dildos and other assorted sex toys. Have you seen those hard sided makeup cases? This sort of reminds me of that. I really like this case, but the top part that folds away is so large that I feel you lose a lot of useable space. There’s a shelf inside for batteries or whatnot, but the track it’s on is somewhat difficult to lift smoothly. A fair amount of things can be put inside on the bottom. I fit in my Hitachi the Iris, the Gigi on the bottom, and then on the smaller shelf I can fit Mia, Lily and the Baby Bug and some batteries. There is room to spare.

21444834The hard sides protect your stuff, but everything inside is essentially loose so if you flip it upside down the stuff on the shelf lands down with the stuff on the bottom. This means that your silicone toys should be in a sleeve or soft case so they don’t touch other silicone toys, and jelly toys should be in plastic so they don’t melt on each other. (Or just toss them in the trash. Really.) I photographed the case with the toys I listed above inside, and none of the toys in my picture are in their fabric sleeves but that’s because I wanted to show you what would fit inside. You shouldn’t store them so they’re able to touch, regardless of what you see in pictures.

Pros:

Hard sides, secure locking mechanism. It’s a combination lock that is simple to set.

Discreet, sturdy, roomy. It’s 15 inches long, long enough to fit a Hitachi Magic Wand.

Could store more than just toys. Maybe DVDs, magazines, etc? Use your imagination… what do you need to keep safe?

The large size comes in pink or black. The smaller size comes in pink, black or purple!

Cons:

While the lock is secure and easy to set, it’s finicky to open. If you don’t put the combo in juuuust right, you may lock yourself out.

Doesn’t have dividers to separate different kinds of toys.

21445022Ultimately, this is a very good storage solution for someone with a small collection of toys, perhaps a Hitachi, slimline vibe and a few dildos of materials that don’t need to be kept separate. It’s awesome for toys with cords or adaptors because you can tuck all the extras in with it and keep it together. While the inner liner does appear to be somewhat poorly attached and/or slightly lumpy over hinge areas, it’s not going anywhere. This is a case that is sturdy and will do the job, hold your toys or DVDs or erotica books, lock them up safely, protect them from harm and tiny child-like fingers and allow for easy transport. It’s very utilitarian and discreet, but it’s not super snazzy or overly intuitive. It could easily take advantage of the space inside with a bigger shelf, dual shelves, compartmented shelves or dividers. If you’re looking for something with dividers, give some thought to splurging for the Toybox XL by For Your Nymphomation available through VibeReview. It’s only a little more expensive, and will keep your toys from touching eachother, and also locks securely! Either route you choose, head to VibeReview to look for some sex toy storage to keep your collection safe.
