TLL Adult Review: Baby Bug
The Baby Bug is one of the highest rated vibrators at VibeReview. There is good reason for this. Despite its adorable appearance that may turn some off (even while making others go “aww”) this is a very well made toy. It’s another Fun Factory toy, made from soft quality silicone in either pink or green. Mine’s pink. One of my favorite things about the small Fun Factory vibrators is the easy battery compartment. Like the Laya Spot, it twists off. Baby Bug takes two AAA batteries. It has a plus and minus button. Plus obviously goes up and on, minus goes down and off. Once it’s on the highest setting, a longer press to the plus button brings you to pulse modes. Long pulses, faster pulses, even faster pulses, and undulating pulses. So, four pulse settings all in all. For the size, this is a strong vibrator and more than capable of getting me off without frustration. I find it to be quiet, probably due to the soft outer surface.
Yeah, it looks like a bug, but the ridgey shapes of the little bug’s body feel good when used for insertion. It’s not as long as some insertable toys, but the width and shape of him feels good enough to make up for the lack of length. His circumference is 4″ so someone who’s good at math circles tell me what the diameter is? I just grabbed a measuring tape, and at the widest, looks like he’s about 1 1/4″. If you want to get a first toy (or second) that doesn’t look overwhelmingly like a sex toy, this might be it. To go with the Baby Bug, try a waterbased lube like ID Glide. Any waterbased lube will work, just avoid silicone based lube as the Baby Bug is made of silicone. ID Glide is a good, long lasting lube that is also latex friendly. I have the baby bug in green and love it, adorable and more powerful than expected!
