I would also be framed as a “lipstick lesbian” and I know from experience that I would get all of the same reactions you experience. It is unfair.

I absolutely love your last statement: “And we are not coming to get your nice, middle-class daughters. I think you’ll find that they are coming to us.” Fabulous.
