TLL Adult Review: B-Bomb by Tantus

The B-Bomb by Tantus has quickly become my favorite butt plug. Torpedo shaped and with a very narrow head and deliciously curved body, it’s easy for even me to use. I’ve said before that I tend to be finicky when it comes to butt toys. This may not be the best toy for someone who’s never had a butt plug before – for that, I’d go with the Little Flirt, but if you’ve had a very small one before this would be a good step up. Or if, like me, you maybe had something too big and were frustrated that it didn’t work, this would be an ideal step down. It’s 1.4″ at the widest point, and 4″ long.
Now, I know what you may be thinking. With the pointy head, it can’t be comfortable, right? Wrong. Being silicone, it has just the right amount of give, making inserting and using this toy a dream. I reviewed another butt plug a while back made of hard urethane with a similar round base, and noted that the base made it uncomfortable between the cheeks because it was hard and had no give. The B-Bomb has a similar round base, but being silicone, there is no such discomfort.
Tantus suggests, and I concur, that you should put a dab of lube on the vibrating bullet before you pop it in the plug. Why? Well, let’s just say I decided the advice was bunk and jammed the vibe in there when I first got it and getting it out was a serious pain in the… you get what I’m saying. I got it back out eventually, but it wasn’t fun. The lube won’t make the bullet pop out during use, in fact it creates a sort of wet seal in there to keep it in, but when you want it back a little tug will do it.
The toy is 100% Tantus Platinum Silicone, which means it’s virtually indestructible. Use waterbased lube and you’ll be fine. Wash it with soap and hot water or boil it (without the vibrator inside) or toss it in the dishwasher. The vibrator is your run of the mill $5 silver bullet vibe that happens to be waterproof, so a wash in the sink works for it too. If you lose it or it dies from overuse, you can pick up another one virtually anywhere. The button cell batteries aren’t too pricey as they’re the most common of the tiny batteries vibes take, and you can often get 6 batteries for under $3, enough for two replacements.
This toy gets a 10. Starting out at ten, nothing is taken for flaws or annoyances, it’s perfect for me. Some might feel it’s too pointed at the tip, but I find that lends itself to easier insertion. I like the width, and the narrow neck is perfect to keep it in. Oh, and did I mention, where the bullet vibe ends up positioned means it vibrates directly at the anal opening? I like this. Very very much. Perfect 10 for the B-Bomb.
