Please Consider Sponsoring the 2009 Lezzy Awards

The Lesbian Lifestyle blog has been publishing stories written by lesbian women from around the world since 2004. In 2006 the blog began hosting an on line contest for Best Lesbian Blog of the Year. In 2009 TLL expanded the awards by adding more categories, creating a user friendly nomination and voting system, and the name of the awards were officially changed to “The Lezzys”. The nominations for this years awards begin on February 15, 2010 and we hope that you will consider a prize donation in exchange for advertisement on the blog (http://thelesbianlifestyle.com) during the awards any beyond. Any small donation in the form of merchandise, gift certificates, or prize money will help support the awards and will go directly to the winners.

We are still in need of sponsors for The Lezzys by way of a prize donations that will be awarded to the winners. During the awards The Lesbian Lifestyle receives thousands of unique hits on a daily basis. The blog currently receives over 1500 unique hits a day and this will more than double during the awards. If you decide to sponsor The Lezzys TLL will be happy to offer you a 120×120 pixel advertising square. Your graphic will appear on the The Lezzys page of the blog as well as being mentioned in the press releases. This will be great exposure to the lesbian market. Your advertising graphic can be linked to your website, blog, or on line store. It is a great way to show your support for the lesbian blogging community and bring attention to your brand.

Your ad and corresponding url will run on TLL for 3 months from when your graphic is received. That is a 300.00 value!

In the past companies have donated gift baskets, DVD’s, and other merchandise for the winners. Since there are a total of 11 categories this year we are in need of even more donations. Ideally we would like to put prize packages together for the 1st place winners in all 11 categories. This, of course, does not mean that you have to donate 11 items. Once all the donations are received we will group the donations together and award them as prize packages.

The time line for the awards is below. We are hoping to have all the donations secured by February 6th so they can be announce on the blog and in the press release. We are also asking that the donations be mailed to Kelly to insure receipt do to issues that occurred during past awards. You will receive more details once you contact Kelly in regards to prize shipment.

The Lezzys 2009 Time line

February 15th: Nominations begin
February 22nd: Nominations End at 12:00am
February 22nd: Voting begins at 12:00 pm. Voting will consist of 11 categories. The top three nominated blogs from each category will be included in voting.
March 2nd: 12:00 am voting ends
March 3rd: Winners are announced live on The Lesbian Lounge Podcast
