TLL Adult Review: Onye Fleur

The Onye Fleur, just in time for Valentine’s Day! It’s just like the original Onye, except the folks at Big Teaze stripped away what it didn’t need, made it prettier, and lowered the price. Excellent! What they took away was the pattern vibe settings. This might make or break the toy for you, but I find them frustrating unless it’s super unique pulse settings. It’s the steady vibrate settings that I love and those ones are the same in Fleur, so no complaints here. I like the sculpted grip. It’s easier to hold onto when it’s slick with lube, and it’s very pretty with the floral motif. I can’t figure out if that part is silicone or not, but Big Teaze says it’s made of “virgin plastics” whatever that means, and that it’s non-porous.

The price is about $10 less, and that’s made possible because the Onye Fleur is not shipped in a box like the original Onye. Personally, I don’t use storage boxes that toys come with; they all end up getting a cloth case or zip bag and added to a sex toy case, so the lack of a box does not phase me. If you are buying this as a gift, however, just keep in mind you need to creatively wrap it.

Regardless of the box situation, it’s a solid “special edition” vibrator that’s both attractive and utilitarian with its three basic speeds. Three AAA’s power the Onye, and like its predecessor, it’s a fantastic size and shape of vibrator to hold tight in your hand for good, easy clit stimulation. My only qualm is that the one I have seems ever so slightly finnicky. Once or twice, I had to unscrew and re-screw the cap to get it to turn on, as though it were having a small glitch or something. This hasn’t been anything that unscrewing and rescrewing hasn’t fixed.

Head on over to Babeland and get one for yourself or for someone you love!

“Virgin plastics” means “not recycled.” I don’t understand why a company would be proud of that. Maybe they think the word “virgin” makes it sound sexier.
