If you’ve seen my recent review of Vixen‘s Johnny, you know I think Vixen is pretty great.  The other day I covered their VixSkin realistic silicone material, but today we’re talking about regular silicone. Specifically, the big silicone Randy. Silicone Randy is the same size as its own VixSkin counterpart, but with less squish and give, so the 6″ long by 2-3/16″ wide dildo will feel bigger without that realistic give. When I was deciding between VixSkin and regular Randy, my decision was swayed by watching Belladonna’s Strapped Dykes which is a FANTASTIC porno (if you’re ever in the market). It features the black silicone Randy being used by Jiz Lee, Squirter Extraordinaire. I was convinced I wanted to go the firm silicone route, but opted not to get the black because they offer Randy in a gorgeous marbled purple.

As soon as I asked for it, I started to read reviews of other people’s experiences with the VixSkin model, which I hadn’t gotten. Most of these reviews mentioned A) pain, B) shock at the size and C) pain. This was with the VixSkin one. Mine would feel bigger? Clearly, I was insane. That said, when the package from Vixen arrived, I tore it open and got down to business.

My Experiences With The Purple People Eater

I found that I didn’t have the same problem a lot of others had when first using the dildo. Where others needed to use smaller dildos first or work up to it over multiple sessions spanning days, I did not. Maybe I should have? I didn’t do that, though, and survived. So that’s something.

Don’t get me wrong, it is a monster, but I’ve had some large dildos in the past and while this is almost certainly the thickest one to date, it was nothing I couldn’t handle with some warm up (a fantasy and a vibrator) and proper lubrication (Pink Water, my lube of choice).

Using this toy does exert a lot of pressure against your pubic bone, or at least it did mine. For some people, this is going to be painful. It sort of was for me, around the edges, but I like that sort of thing and also seem to have a pretty good control of my muscles to ease entry, etc., so this was minimal and not unpleasant for me. If you know that a smaller toy you already own is too big, or painful, then Randy isn’t going to be something you want (or, want yet). I just want you to understand that serious dildo is serious. Only you know your vagina, so be smart about whether it’s gonna want one of these monsters. Don’t buy this and then come crying to me when your vagina hates you. Seriously.

Because of the girth, I don’t use all of the length most of the time (from what I can tell). I found that when it was in halfway or three quarters-ish, it was doing wonders for my g-spot and I didn’t need it in farther (read: couldn’t get it in farther). When I use dildos of average girth, I generally use more of the length to try and angle it against the g-spot. The girth of this is really awesome. I mean this in both meanings of the word awesome: really cool, and really awe inspiring. Once it’s inside, thrusting or motionless, the pressure is just… there. Against your g-spot. And it’s awesome.

I don’t need much motion with it to get off, either, though I was able to move and thrust it by holding the base. I really enjoyed a gentle rocking forwards, against the g-spot. Thrusting was good, too, but I kind of found it almost too intense. I like using it in conjunction with a vibrator/fingers against my clit. I was able to use Randy and my fingers on my clit with the same hand (because I’m a NINJA) but it’s definitely easier to do with two hands.

DILDOCLUSION

My overall feelings about this toy? I’m a big fan. It’s a dildo I am glad I own, and if I lost it or someone stole it from me, I’d be all over replacing it immediately. However, I don’t use it every day. It’s just too big for me to want to use all the time. When I do want something big, though, this is what I grab, hands down. It’s not something for beginners, or for the faint of vagina, but if you’re always looking for something girthy enough to really fill you up, you should consider Randy. Consider getting the VixSkin Randy if you think the touch of squish and give might make it easier for you. You’ll still get the size and the full experience, but I think it’s a little easier to handle.
