The 3rd annual FABULOSA Fest is happening July 16-18, 2010 at Walker Creek Ranch near Petaluma, CA. The FABULOSA Collective presents an exciting and diverse program of Music, Film Shorts and classes, along with a Craft Fair and a Healing Arts Expo, on a beautiful, 1,700 acre, green-facility ranch. Attendees will have the time of their lives swimming, canoeing, hiking, making friends, dancing at parties in the Boogie Barn, eating delicious meals (allergen-free options available), and camping or staying in bunkhouses/semi-private rooms. There is limited RV space, so book early!

FABULOSA Fest is an inclusive feminist gathering. All Women, their families, and friends of all genders are invited to attend and participate in this precious, Sister-Focused Community gathering! Our collective distributes all proceeds to LGBTQ-oriented charities that serve youth and adult communities in Northern California and beyond.

FABULOSA Fest 2010 brings you live entertainment from internationally known performers such as Tender Forever, Lovers, Sistas in the Pit, Bitch, Tara Jane O’Neil, Kaia Wilson (of The Butchies), Jenny Hoyston’s LESBIANS, and drum corps sensation STLS; nationally touring acts Excuses for Skipping, live-looping pioneer Irina Rivkin, and burlesque sensation Dottie Lux; Bay Area legends like Judea Eden, Amy Meyers and Jeni Day’s Bittersweet Trio, Carrie Gerendasy, Pamela Rosin, The Passengers (featuring Jackie Strano of the Hail Marys), Jenn August, pianist Margrit Eichler, and Maria Machetes plus some of our favorite up and comers like Chantelle Tibbs, Blair Hansen, Jenna Riot, Clair, Finding Stella, and more!

FABULOSA Fest 2010 is proud to co-sponsor a sacred drum meditation on Saturday afternoon. All attendees are invited to bring hand percussion and other instruments to participate in cadences led by STLS and representatives from Tom Tom, the magazine for women drummers.

FABULOSA Fest 2010 hosts some of the best women DJs on the West Coast, including Chelsea Starr (Hot Pants, SF), Nolita Selector (Fruitcake, SF), Brown Amy (Hard French, SF), Just Jillin’, Yer Momm (Blowpony, Portland, OR), and Ladyfingers (Lesbian Braid Train, Olympia, WA).

FABULOSA Fest’s third annual Short Film Exhibition will include new work by award-winning filmmakers Wynne Greenwood (Tracy & the Plastics), Cat Tyc, Janelle Hessig, Mary Guzman, Kanako Wynkoop, Courtney Trouble, Johanna Buchignani, Joey Cupcake, Emily Kingan, STS and more!

FABULOSA Fest Weekend Pass (Friday 2pm – Sunday 6pm) includes camping or lodging (rooms and campsites are first come, first served) for three days and two nights, plus the following meals: Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and Sunday Breakfast and Lunch. The weekend pass covers entrance to all performances, the Short Film Exhibition, DJ parties in the barn, yoga and nutrition classes, hand drum lessons and drum circles, Craft Fair & Healing Arts Expo and full use of the beautiful Walker Creek Ranch grounds, including swimming and canoeing area, and hiking trails.

FABULOSA Fest Weekend Pass (Saturday 10am – Sunday 6pm) includes choice of camping or lodging (rooms and campsites are first come, first served) for three days and two nights plus the following meals: Saturday Lunch and Dinner and Sunday Breakfast and Lunch. The weekend pass covers entrance to all performances, the Short Film Exhibition, DJ parties in the barn, yoga and nutrition classes, hand drum lessons and drum circles, Craft Fair & Healing Arts Expo and full use of the beautiful Walker Creek Ranch grounds, including swimming and canoeing area, and hiking trails. Entry to the property is permitted after 10am Saturday.

FABULOSA Fest Day Passes (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) includes entrance to all performances, yoga and nutrition classes, craft and healing arts fair and full use of the Walker Creek Ranch grounds, including swimming and canoeing areas and hiking trails until 10pm gate closure.

We highly recommend purchasing tickets online, in advance, to guarantee space and meal availability, but attendees may purchase a Weekend Pass or Day Passes with CASH on-site at our registration booth. Walker Creek Ranch has an ATM on-site but FABULOSA Fest is NOT able to accept credit or debit cards at either the registration booth or snack bars and beer gardens, and it is doubtful that health practitioners such as chiropractors and massage therapists will have credit card capabilities.
