TLL Adult Review: LELO Siri
I’ve been away from the reviewing scene for a while due to some big changes in my real life, but I’m back with a couple of awesome new product reviews that’ll be going live in the coming weeks. Today I’m reviewing for Kama Sutra Closet, and the toy is one of the new LELO vibrators, a revamped clitoral vibrator called the Siri. My Siri is red, though it is offered in pink and purple as well.
Siri is a dedicated clitoral vibrator (like Nea, Lily and Mia) but it boasts a more powerful motor than any of LELO’s other vibrators. People who prefer small, unobtrusive clitoral vibes and have looked at LELO in the past have only had the Nea, Lily and Mia to choose from, and all of these are all far less powerful than any LELO’s full sized vibes; Gigi, Liv, Iris, Elise, Mona and Ina. So, a dedicated clitoral vibe that is supposedly armed with a stronger motor than their mid-sized and full-sized vibes? Definitely something I wanted to check out.
Siri is actually stronger than the other LELO vibrators. It’s not a lot stronger, but it’s significant enough that, when combined with it’s more targeted shape, it is more convenient for clitoral use than any of the larger LELO vibes (Gigi, Liv, etc.). Siri fits right into the palm of the hand or cradles against the fingers so that the fingertips are not resting directly on the buttons – which could change the settings at awkward times – but the buttons are easy to reach when you do want to change settings. The buttons operate the same as other vibrators in LELO’s lineup; the + to the right turns it on and increases the power, and the – to the left decreases and shuts it off. The up arrow changes the pattern settings, and the down arrow goes back down through the pattern settings back to solid pulse.
Some changes I have noticed in Siri from older models is that the buttons aren’t on a circular dial, but are physically four separate silicone buttons. I’m not sure if that makes it more or less water resistant, but I definitely prefer this style of button because I always know what button I’m pressing. Another change is that the charging port doesn’t have a silicone cap to keep it plugged up when it’s not charging. You might think that’s a bad thing, but I’ve lost these silicone stoppers before and that’s just not cool. Not having one at all, by design, is better than losing a poorly designed one. I had not had any problems with moisture getting in and damaging the toy.
While it’s a good solid vibrator, I notice that after my first orgasm I feel kind of desensitized to the vibrations and it no longer ‘works’ for me in that session. Basically, if I wanted to go on for seconds, I’d need a different vibrator. People who don’t go for a second (or third) wouldn’t have this problem. I’m not sure why this happens to me, but it happens every single time, regardless of how I use it. It might be the strength of the vibrations, but I’ve had stronger vibrators not do this to me. It’s not that I’m so overstimulated that I can’t bear to continue; it’s just that I’ve maxed out. After that first, the highest level of Siri won’t get me to number two.
To be honest, that’s really all I have to say against Siri. Just that I have trouble getting the second orgasm. Siri’s various levels of vibrations and pulse patterns never fail to be a good slow build to that first orgasm (for me). I would definitely recommend Siri over Nea, Mia or Lily for the range of vibrations, and it’s one of the best and definitely the most dependable rechargeable clitoral vibe I’ve tried, and the price is very reasonable considering the safety of the materials (silicone and hard plastic), the ease of use, rechargeable battery, and manufacturer’s warranty against defects. Stop on over at the Kama Sutra Closet and pick one up as an early holiday gift for yourself or for a loved one!
