Lesbiatopia Returns!!!
Blogging is a lot of work. Let me rephrase. Blogging is a lot of work put into something you are passionate about often times for free. I counted up the hours I have spent at my computers editing, posting, fiddling with templates once and I began to cry silently to myself. That said, I’m not looking for your mercy. Myself, and so many others do this because it is our passion. Our blogs become like our children. We start them as babies, feed them with links and SEO, and then one day we hope for our stat counter to fly off the charts.
Because of my intimate knowledge of creating blogs it always pains me to see a lesbian blog fall off the radar or go dormant. I audit the TLL Blogroll quarterly and I’m always saddened by those blogs that had to close their virtual doors due to one thing or another. However today I was happily surprised to see a blog I have followed for several years re-entering the ring. Renee, over at Lesbiatopia, has decided to revive her blog from the LGBT blogging graveyard.
Taken from Lesbiatopia:
When it all boils down to it, I decided to breathe life back into Lesbiatopia.com, not because of the free stuff, or the media passes, or even the fame (ha!) but it is simply because I love to write. I’m sure you’re wondering what the future of Lesbiatopia holds, and that remains to be seen. But there will be new content, more content, and more frequent content. It will be fun, and smart, and fresh, and entertaining. And if you are interested in being a contributing, send me an email and I will get you set up with your own profile for the site and you too can see how amazing it is to have a voice to an audience that listens and cares. I hope you enjoy the new look and I welcome any and all feedback, thoughts, comments, one-liners, etc. And let the record show that although this site is titled “Lesbiatopia”, any and all members of the LGBTQI community are always welcomed, this is truly a judgement free zone.
We are super happy to have you and Lesbiatopia back!!!
