Losing Love

I have been with this girl for about 3 years and known her since high school. We started off very good then got very rocky then went to good again. We had a place together and everything. About a month before we broke up we began arguing a lot more being less touchy stopped having sexual time together it was weird to me. I thought it was because she was working a lot so I never complained. I did everything for her. We break up and not even 2 weeks later shes talking to a guy already. Does this mean she wasn’t a full lesbian the entire time? Does this mean she was seeing him before we even broke up? I’m so heart broken because she would always tell me shes a lesbian and would never hurt me or leave me for a guy and she did everything she said she wouldn’t do. I don’t know what to think of that. I need true lesbian advice. Thank you

Hi,

You sound a bit like I am talking to myself! I have a relationship with a girl that isn’t out at home. It kills me every time I hear or see her in some fake (I Hope) hetero situation. It sucks…it just sucks.

I think that losing a loved one to someone else is tough regardless of the circumstances. I don’t think you should focus on the fact that she seems to be getting close to a guy. The fact that she may or may not be starting a new relationship should not take away the fun times that you had over the last three years. Are you able to talk things through with her?
