Just met this girl and weve fallen hard and fast. She may be my everything.. but she has 2 children at 22?!!!! This is an unheard of language to me.

So here’s the issue. I have never questioned my sexuality. I have been aware of my attraction and love for women for as long as I can remember, which so happens to be age 5. So what happens when after 30 years you find yourself attracted to a man.

On Saturday, I got a good dosage of nice clean social homophobia. I went out to lunch with two friends (one knew I was gay, the other did not), and one girl was talking about her new beau. She turned to me and asked if I had a boyfriend. I said no, but I have a girlfriend. Suddenly, she sat up straight and exclaimed, “YOU’RE BI!” I said, no, “I’m gay.” (Heads turned.) Well, she couldn’t believe it, and asked for a clarification, “You mean you’re lesbian? You like women?” For affirmation, she turned to my other friend who responded with, “She’s a little bit lesbian.”

It seems a running theme with me would be anger but really it’s not so, I just use TLL to vent when I am and I don’t really feel like blogging when I’m happy so sorry if my stuff bums you out but I know I’m not the only one out here to feel angry [...]
