Old Friend
© 2003 Sandra Jean-Pierre
On the Sahara plain
we were tribesman
sharing stories of the hunt
beneath crooked-sparse
shade trees
maybe…
we were women
in South America
tending the men,
nursing the children,
feeding our families
from the Earth
while sharing the sisterhood
of moon-cycles
infinitely capable of life - rebirth
maybe…
maybe
we were
evy-ivy over
I said east-west
I met my friend at the candy store
playmates
sharing Bazooka Joe bubble gum
and coca-cola
on mid-summer

Part 1: The Look

part-1-the-look

Ahhh… the look of a woman. From her head to her toes, as a whole, or focusing on specific parts of her body….god.. it’s like watching a sunset and being able to freeze it at the peak of it’s beauty and just feel that hummm in your chest letting you know this… is something amazing.
It’s [...]

It’s the look and more…

its-the-look-and-more

“It’s the look”. At least that’s part of it, I’ve told myself over the past couple of days.

there is something

there-is-something

In honor of valentines day:
This is not an ode to any one particular woman, but to all women who love women. Enjoy.

[This is what I listened to while I wrote this, so of course I think you should listen to it while you read it. One of the sexiest songs in existence.]

Sex. Pure. and. Simple.

sex-pure-and-simple

I can’t keep my mind off her.
I want to bed her.
I want to fuck her ‘til Kingdom come.
I want to feel my fingers glide in out around.
The silky wetness.
I want to taste her on my tongue.
I want to press my hand against her hip.
I want to feel my body warm against hers.
I want to kiss [...]

Why?

why

I am this
Not being sure what this is I struggle with that
That being a million questions to answer what
What being who I am
I being my mind
Not to be confused with the woman you see
The one you man not give a second chance
I being me
But me being more confused than ever on the definition of I
As [...]

…..beating

beating

Standing in the middle of the park
facing the majestic cathedral
looking haggard
with the mouth half-opened
opened-palmed
carrying a beating heart
dark red blood
streaming through his fingers
ba boom ba boom ba boom
rhytmic, incessant
the sparkling viscous liquid
colors the brick floor
He does not know where this living pump comes from
He does not remember how he got here.
He does not dare gaze at [...]

my african daisy

my-african-daisy

perennial
october
preparing for winter
unchartered
tipsy words
butterflies
beyond the mountains
coffee brewing
squatting
light fire
cool breeze
mind wandering
expectation

Lesbian Quotes

Jesse Helms and Newt Gingrich were shaking hands congratulating themselves on the introduction of an antigay bill in Congress. If it passes, they won’t be able to shake hands, because it will then be illegal for a prick to touch an asshole. — Judy Carter
