TLL Blog of the Year
Beginning in 2006 TLL began to award The TLL Lesbian Blog of the Year Award. Our theory is that TLL is the best place to gather up the best blogs written by lesbians. TLL has been around since 2004 and we pride ourselves on having over 100 authors and hundreds of posts that contain the stories of our lives.
The Lesbian blog of the Year award is the only award TLL gives out. We like to think this makes it very prestigious in nature. The focus of the award is on blogs written by lesbians only. Blogs will be nominated by your peers and voted for by your peers. Because of this we tend to get an amazing array of nominations from within the lesbian blogger community. From the well known lesbian blogs to the smaller hidden gems, the race to the finish becomes one you don’t want to miss.
Nominations begin in mid-January and last until mid-February at which point the top 5 blogs are determined. Voting then goes on for another two weeks and the winner of the award gets a nifty little badge/button to display on their blog along with prizes donated by sponsors.
Rules for nominations.
- The blog must have at least one contributor that identifies as a lesbian
- At least 30% of the content should be related to the lesbian culture
- The writer/s of the blog must be actively blogging
- Please do not nominate a lesbian dating site, it must be an actual blog
- All blog genres are welcome
- You may nominate your own blog
- Past winners may be nominated
- One nomination per person per blog please
- Please make sure the url of your nomination is present in your comment

About: I’m a big ol’ lesbo living in beautiful downtown Brooklyn. I enjoy a pint well-pulled and a hearty giggle or two. I’ve also got a rockin’ head of hair and legs longer than most. For reasons beyond my comprehension, strangers on the subway seem to really enjoy my feet.
